1. Agreement
By using cleanvault.io you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to the free tools published here and to the site as a whole.
2. The service
CleanVault provides browser-based utilities that process data locally on your device. The tools are provided free of charge, without registration, and the site is funded by advertising. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and we do not guarantee that any particular tool will remain available.
3. Acceptable use
Use CleanVault for lawful purposes only. Do not use it to process data you have no right to process, to attempt to disrupt or overload the site, to scrape it at volume, or to reproduce it as a competing service. Do not attempt to interfere with the advertising on the site or to generate invalid ad traffic.
4. No warranty
CleanVault is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools are free of errors or that their output is correct or fit for your purpose.
This matters in practice. Verify any output you intend to rely on. Cryptographic and encoding tools in particular should never be the sole basis for a security decision.
5. Your data
The tools process your input in your browser and transmit nothing. You remain responsible for the data you handle and for complying with any obligations that attach to it. Nothing here transfers those obligations to us, and nothing here should be read as a professional, legal or compliance assurance about your particular situation.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khamis M. B. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising out of or connected with your use of CleanVault — whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised that such damage was possible. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
7. Third-party content
The site displays advertising supplied by third parties and may link to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for that content.
8. Intellectual property
The CleanVault name, design and source code are owned by Khamis M. B.. The output you produce with the tools is yours; we claim no rights over it.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. We may restrict or withdraw access to anyone who breaches them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
