Title case and sentence case are different things
Sentence case capitalises the first letter after each terminal punctuation mark and leaves the rest alone — it is what you want for body copy that arrived shouting. Title case capitalises the first letter of every word, which is the convention for headlines in most house styles, though editorial style guides differ on whether short prepositions and articles should be lowercased. This tool capitalises every word; if your style guide says otherwise, fix the handful of exceptions afterwards.
Strip numbers, strip punctuation
These two are the quiet workhorses. Stripping punctuation before a word-frequency pass stops data, and data counting as separate terms. Stripping digits is how you get a clean list of names out of an export that appended row numbers. Both run over the text in the page — a pasted contact list or customer comment set is never transmitted.
Common questions
Does title case follow a style guide?
It capitalises every word. Most house styles lowercase short articles and prepositions, so check headlines against your own guide afterwards.
Can I chain transformations?
Yes. Each Apply writes to the result box; copy that back into the input to run another pass.
Is the text uploaded?
No. Every transformation is a string operation running in the page.
